Insolvency and the 2010 QC announcement

The Ministry of Justice have published the 2010 Queen's Counsel list. There are a number of names that are of interest to the world of insolvency. New silks that have insolvency as part of their practice include: Mr Christopher Stoner QC at Serle Court; and Mr Mark Anderson QC of No.5 Chambers (London and Birmingham).

The world of insolvency/company law academia also features amongst the new silks. Following on from her recent Fellowship of the British Academy acolade, Professor Sarah Worthington QC, has also been made a Queen's Counsel (honoris causa). The citation notes:
"Professor Sarah Elizabeth Mary Worthington is a legal academic, Fellow of the British Academy and Professor of law at the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is recommended for her academic work in the field of corporate and commercial law together with her work advising government."
